Our spirit must be spiritually energized, by the Spirit of God, through saturation with the Scriptures, by Faith…

Today I am sharing with you a great bible study from and evangelist friend on Face book-of whom I regularly receive his short studies:


 It is the spirit (the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God and Christ) that quickeneth (to spiritually make alive); the flesh (the natural man)  profiteth (spiritually and scripturally) nothing: the words (By way of application, the Scriptures.) that I speak unto you (The LORD Jesus Christ speaks to us today through the Scriptures and the Spirit.), they are spirit (This is implying the spiritual life giving affect and effect of the Scriptures, through the Spirit of God infused spiritually to the born again spirit of the believer.), and they are life (eternal and earthly abundant spiritual life). John 6:63

It is the spirit (the Holy Ghost) that quickeneth (or to spiritually make alive)…

It is the flesh (the natural man), we must render (count it to be so) inoperative through repentance of the works of the flesh, for Jesus said, it (the flesh) profiteth (spiritually and scripturally) nothing…

It is as we identify our flesh (the natural man), by faith, with the crucified Christ, on the cross, that our flesh is rendered in operative, and as we identify, by faith, with the Christ that is resin that we are spiritually made alive. The Apostle Paul taught: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ (the resurrected Christ) liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

It is as we saturate (through daily prayerful meditation) ourselves with the Word of God that our spirit is spiritually energized, by the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the resurrected Christ that lives in us and desires to live the life of the LORD Jesus Christ through us…  

As an illustrating thought: I do not write to offend, but to encourage and to exhort. Today, once again I have found on FB another trite religious saying, included here, which seems to be true, but in reality can reinforce a Laodicea religion that many are blindly practicing today, as they are blinded in such, by the spirit of self-will, self-reliance, self-effort, self-glorification, and self-righteousness. The saying is: Once you have done all you can (which seems to imply to do all you can, which are works of the religious flesh), GOD will do all you can’t!  Is such spiritually and scripturally true? When the LORD Jesus Christ said in the text: the flesh profiteth nothing… John 6:65, and I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth (spiritually and scriptural dwells, by faith) in me, and I in him (through the indwelling Spirit of Christ), the same bringeth forth much fruit (spiritual and scriptural fruit): for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5

This is just a short article on what is happening in middle east with Egypt. Remember Egypt in the news and government changes a few months back I never knew  much of what it was about, but just knew it always points to God getting closer. It is prophecy. I just can never study everything like I would like to.   Never nailed down whether this stuff going on over there was good or bad news. But the middle east is where it is at for prophecy.
I get Dave Hunt's snippets for Berean Call. I also take his news letter which is wonderful to know what Satan is dishing out in every nook and cranny of this fallen planet. I like to stay up to date, but the error is moving so quickly, no way to keep up with it all. God is my tower of strength through His spirit and His word. I John 4:1 is the verse commanding to test the spirits. Also prove all things in  1 Thessalonians 5:21. A lot of false stuff was being pushed on the church there so what Paul gave them really fits today. Also Romans 12: 1-2. Very important verses to be in God's will and not get mixed up in error- many more-, I do not have time to lay out now. I get excited and horrified by the "last days" we are living in, but current events really excite me. Not a time to be idle, but praying and witnessing fervently.

Any way, I started to write another bipolar message, but am having such depression and anxiety-which goes with that -that I was not able to concentrate on that at all. I had this link already saved to blog someday. soon. Today is that day. I will share this with you. Hope fully tomorrow can pick it up on the bipolar or at least one of my other series.

Baalam

I could never understand Why the Lord said what he did about Baalam when upon reading in Revelation 2:14But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. When did he do this? It appears that God had tole him not to curse Israel since God had blessed Israel and it would do no good to curse them-It appeared as if this prophet was a good guy and did as God asked. Plus the scripture with the donkey in Numbers 22. Baalam acts like he is on the "Lord's side."
Today I learned three things concerning him. He may have acted outwardly righteous at following what God wanted, but underneath, behind the scenes of which the account in numbers does not appear that I can find to really give us detail of. (Genesis 3:1 suitability)
1. 2 Peter 2:15 He desired personal gain. He wanted what Balak had offered.
2. Jude 1:11 Even when he did right it was as an hireling.
3.Back to Revelation 2:14 His doctrine was to do whatever he could to get that reward. So behind the scenes he counseled Balak to bring the Israelite into fornication and eating things sacrificed to idols so that god would have to judge and destroy them.

The Biblical Tabernacle and the 4 Gospels Cont.

Exodus 27: 9-16
We covered the tabernacle as a type of Jesus Christ. It's outward plainness, but the beauty of the curtains made the way into this building. What the curtain colors represented: Blue: Heaven, Purple: Royalty, Red: Redemption or salvation if you will and fine twined Linen: Righteousness.
These curtains were set on 4 pillars and sockets=the 4 Gospels of which the way to salvation, righteousness, to God and heaven hang on. The gate, the way to enter.

1. Matthew is the gospel of the king: this is the purple way into the tabernacle. If you want to reach God and be part of his royal family you need to be born into the King's family-be his seed.
2. Mark is the gospel of the suffering servant. the red curtains stands for the cross of suffering this servant bore for us. the crimson blood he shed.
3. Luke is the gospel of the Son of Man. Jesus Christ was the only righteous man. through his righteousness we become righteous. this is the white linen of the curtain. And
4. John: Jesus Christ the Son of God-Blue-Our connection to heaven. He came down from Heaven for us.

The Biblical Tabernacle and the 4 Gospels

Exodus 27: 9-16
The outer covering of the Tabernacle in the wilderness was of ugly non attractive badger skins all the way around except for the gate. See our scripture reference.
Isiah 53:2. the tabernacle was a picture of the savior Jesus Christ: "He hath no form or comeliness and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."
All except the gate: His life and inward beauty. Matthew 7:13: Enter ye in at the strait gate. John 10:1. He is the only door. There was no other way into the tabernacle but through this gate.. any one that tried to get in, or tries to get in any other way is a thief and robber.
This gate had four colors. these colors had 4 meanings and each represented one of the four gospels.

1. Blue=Heaven
2. Purple = Royalty
3. Scarlet=Redemption
4. Fine twined Linen=Righteousness

These 4 hung as a beautiful curtain which was the only way into the tabernacle. These hung on 4 pillars and 4 sockets which represent 4 Gospels: (am out of room so will continue in a following blog.)
