Holidays during the whole year.

Hats of all kinds.

Happiness

Hair-given as our Glory according to 1 Corinthians 11. This surely fits with the Holiday "H"
Finally up to letter h. Long time getting here, Would I be amiss if I used the word Holiday. after all I am encompassing every holiday including birthdays in on swoop.

Could add another to Favorites in C

Did I forget church buildings. some are so beautiful. I know the building is not the true church and many (another c word) Cathedral's and church buildings are like whited sepulachres as Jesus said, But many are so pristine in their surroundings. Hence this picture:

Missed a favorite for G

Where would I be without my top Favorite G: And though shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart , soul and mind......

How could I forget this when dealing with this letter. I am nowhere without him. he is the supreme of all my favorites. I would have no favorites of any kind without him. Even those that do not believe -would not be enjoying any favorites if he did not allow a little "heaven" on earth. They will miss all this in hell. whereas because he is my favorite-by his sacrificial death, I will gain even more favorites with the top favorite, being him for all eternity. I can never lose any of it.

Letter C Favorite Castle photos

Fenis Castle is located in the town of Fénis, not far from Aosta. Is in Italy.

Bunratty Castle, North Munster, is sited on an original Viking Trading Camp which dates back to around 970 AD

At first, Neuschwanstein castle was planned to be a small but ornate castle in a high Gothic style, with delicate turrets topped with high-pointed roofs and a huge tower

Germany (Bavaria) My favorite with many others I am sure.

In 1567, Mary Queen of Scots and her third husband, the Earl of Bothwell, sought refuge in Borthwick

Castle is in Scotland.

Chepstow Castle was begun in 1067, a year after the Battle of Hastings upon a limestone ridge overlooking the river Wye. It is a Welsh Castle.

Castles plain and simple. I know they were nasty and clammy cold to live in(If you do not count modernized ones used today and made up to date.) They just fascinate me. There were a couple near to where I lived in WA state, which are not like the castles in Europe, but pretty cool. We used to have this building my kid's and I termed "The cast" from way down on the highway it looked like one, but was actually just and ole stone building that was used for some business way back. Pretty trashy and did not look like a castle when you drove up there.
I need to look into the area I am in now to see if there are any called castles in the immediate area. We do have a large stone house about 10 miles away being sold for $1 million. (Way to much I think for this area.) It is supposedly haunted also and though I do not believe in that but would ascribe to Devil activity. I do find that stuff fun. Am going to add a picture or two of castles from WA. state and next time add more photos of castles from the old country.

How Could I Forget

When doing my favorite things for letter B. I totally forgot my very top favorite Birds. I have had visits from approx. 100 different birds in my yard. During fall and winter months I ground feed and do a couple feeders. I purchase different feeds, sunflower, nuts and seeds, millet. All birds like different stuff. some really only do feeders. Some like ground feeding. and quite a few do both. I want to put out grape jelly for oriels, but have no where to place it where dogs cannot get it. I have 3 hummingbird feeders and I forgot to mention one butterfly feeder which the humming birds use more than the butterflies.
We have 2 large white domestic ducks. (We had 3, but something got one when they were 1/2 grown with yellow still on them. We do have a coop, but the night this happened it was late and we could not get them cornered and in the coop so the one night they were left out one disappeared. The ducks stick like glue so I knew something bad had transpired. A few days later my son and his friend found leftovers in the woods behind the wood pile.
we also have 7 small chickens. Started with 15. Lost two to wild animal sneaking into coop during day when we had let them out, but were really too small yet. 2 just died in box from their water wetting them and even though they were under heat lamp they still perished. One my daughter was trying to catch when letting them out for air to place back in their baby box and it turned sharply and she squashed it with her foot. On got sick and died and two others when the chickens were slightly bigger were found just dead on lawn? There are 3 funny roosters and 4 hens. left. Bandy chickens. My husband got them and ducks to eat the bugs like ticks which are terrible here. they roam the yard during day and are doing a good job at it. the ducks have a swimming pool which is so much fun to watch them bathe in. Roosters starting to scrap and one hen acts like she is ready to nest. We will see what goes on in this saga. Next blog pictures to follow up with.

A-Z My favorite Things

Thought it would be fun to make a listing of favorite things from A- Z. For A: apples. My favorite fruit. are very versatile. Extremely healthy, have something in them that helps asthma(An A thing that is not my favorite)Can be baked into pies, crisps or smothered in peanut butter. Come in varieties from really sweet to sour. colors, red, golden, green. Great dipped in caramel or cream cheese dips. Cheap when in season and where I came from I used to live next to an orchard and could pick them straight off the tree fro free to make applesauce. I could go on and on from the applesauce perspective. There are so amany ways to use that sauce alone...
